Our Community

Our moving company community initiatives

Big Brothers Big Sisters in Welland & Niagara Falls has partnered with our moving company.

We are delighted to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters of south central Niagara. The cash donation they received from us goes toward life-changing mentoring programs that they have offered children since 1912. Mentorship for children is an essential part of growing up and learning about the world. Having the guidance of a mentor can help children to explore their interests, set goals, develop life skills, and give them confidence.

We have expanded our partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters by providing our fleets and drivers for their annual garage sale at their new store in Niagara Falls at 4311 Queen st. We are united with Big Brothers Big Sisters because of their commitment to the Niagara community.

Purge food and drink with JR, our movers and Project SHARE in Niagara Falls

Our moving Company has partnered with Project SHARE of Niagara Falls. They provide essential support services that improve the lives of individuals & families in Niagara Falls who are in need. Project SHARE has been providing emergency food and services to residents of Niagara Falls for more than 30 years. We have made food and cash donations to Project SHARE to help them continue their mission. Project SHARE has also partnered with us in the Purge First With JR campaign, where we offer our customers a free purging service for all nonperishable food, bottled drinks, and other donations. We offer convenience by providing a free pick up before or on your moving day. We want to thank Pam Sharp, who is the Executive Director. Today, we still continue our mission & partnership with Project SHARE. We encourage other residents of the Niagara Region to donate and also support Project SHARE!

Our moving company hosts The Stay Warm & Dry Campaign in the Niagara Region

For 6 years our moving company has picked up donations from individuals and families in our community. We deliver them to The Raft shelter in St. Catharines and The Boys And Girls Club shelter in Niagara Falls. We have expanded our Stay Warm & Dry campaign and have made it part of our Purge First With JR campaign. By offering our customers a free purging service for all winter clothing, socks, sweaters, and sweatpants, we are ensuring that this campaign is sustainable on an annual basis. We offer convenience by providing a free pick up before or on your moving day.

GBF Partners With JR Moving Services

Purge household items with JR, & GBF in Grimsby

We have partnered with GBF in the Purge First With JR campaign to offer our customers a free-of-charge purging service for select household items. We have partnered with GBF on this initiative because of 2 reasons. After being in business for almost 10 years, we have learned that a lot of people throw unwanted items in the landfills when they can be used by a home that either needs or wants these items. The second reason is because GBF is actively involved in the Niagara community and they are on the front lines of battle in the cost of living crisis.
