All I can say about JR Moving Services is they did the best move ever during the worst snow storm of the year! They overcame a tiny elevator where I was leaving and arrived at a snowbound parking lot with almost impossible parking. Nothing got broken and the move was perfection under very difficult circumstances. I recommend JR Moving Services without reservation. If you're wondering who to call you can't go wrong with this crew! Saved my sanity!

Josh and his team did an impeccable job during my recent move. Glad to report that all of my belongings made it safe and sound to my temporary location without a single scratch or issue. And to be fair, there were some fragile and heavy items that they spent the time being careful with while gingerly moving those items to the new location. I actually learned a lot from this crew. Right from the start, Josh felt like part of the family, providing a reasonable quote for the move and sticking to it in the end! Even with a few extra unforeseen items, they were more than accommodating. They are very respectrable, honest and up front. I was immediately comfortable putting my trust in Josh and his professional crew during the move. JR showed up early and stayed until the job was 100% completed, down to tightening the last furnature bolt. Their attention to detail, logistics and care is outstanding. They were efficient, kept the area clean and were very smart about the move in how they put it all together. JR's crew was friendly, funny, and a joy to work with while they conducted the move. Always humourous and connected with the client throughout the moving process. These days it's hard to find such amazing service from a company that goes over and above to make sure things are executed perfectly to the client's satisfaction. JR Moving Services is DEFINITELY one of the best out there. I felt completely confident that I put my trust in the right company. They look after the client, sure, but it's clear that they enjoy what they do and look after each other, keeping things safe for everyone. I look forward to seeing them again when I move back in after my renovations are completed. If we end up with the same crew again on the move back, it will be like seeing old friends. JR movers was a great company to deal with. We moved our Uncle's furniture and things from a Retirement residence to a storage vault and months later from storage to a home. Both times they were prompt, respectful, and efficient. It was a pleasure dealing with JR and his associates. We will use them again.

In the planning process, Josh was professional and responsive. On move day itself, he was on time (early in fact). They were helpful and hardworking, and they got the job done quickly, which was ideal because cleaners were scheduled to arrive after the move was estimated to be done. It ended up being quite smooth and seamless, and ultimately I truly appreciated this. If I have any future moving needs in the Niagara Region, I will be giving Josh a call. I was so impressed with Josh and his team! I was given a very reasonable quote for my small move, with no hidden charges or fees. The crew (4 of them!) showed up on time and worked so quickly and efficiently to get my items on the truck. They even took extra precautions to protect my items, as my doorway and stairs were particularly tricky. The move in to my new place went even more smoothly and was completed in record time. I truly want to give JR Moving Services a five star review. The movers arrived on time and were very efficient, friendly and quick in loading and unloading my household. I was warned before the moving truck left my old house that one particular piece of furniture would, in all likelihood, lose a leg which it did. Josh took his time to fix it at my new location, a daunting task given the age and style of the piece. I was very grateful for that.

Unfortunately another piece received some veneer damage which I only discovered later and some upholstered chairs were soiled; both attributable to the move. In moving in a heavy sofa bed, a wall was damaged despite having removed the door to the room to get it in. The team worked very hard on moving day and I'm sure were eager to get on their way and thus, forgot to put the door back on the hinges.

I felt they did their very best and would still recommend JR Moving Services. The items noted were a small price to pay for the overall moving experience.

We sold our house mid December and moved in early January. It was difficult to find a mover over the Christmas period but JR was up for the challenge. From the very first call to set up an appointment to the last item moved, JR and his team were top notch. No issues, all were very pleasant and all were very knowledgable and hard working ! Josh and his team were wonderful! A January move is messy, but they were very continuous about protecting the furniture and the hardwood floors. I even had an antique cabinet that needed to be moved in one piece, they worked as a team and success! What was really great was they placed everything where I needed it to go and put everything back together (beds, sectional etc). There were no surprises in the cost and Josh was very upfront.
