J&R movers are the “Best” They were very careful moving my furniture. Nothing got damaged or missing. They worked very, very hard using stairs! The 3 men were polite &

We sold our house mid December and moved in early January. It was difficult to find a mover over the Christmas period but JR was up for the challenge. From the very first call to set up an appointment to the last item moved, JR and his team were top notch. No issues, all were very pleasant and all were very knowledgable and hard working ! Will definitely use JR again, highly recommend them!

Josh and his team were wonderful! A January move is messy, but they were very continuous about protecting the furniture and the hardwood floors. I even had an antique cabinet that needed to be moved in one piece, they worked as a team and success! What was really great was they placed everything where I needed it to go and put everything back together (beds, sectional etc). There were no surprises in the cost and Josh was very upfront. I would highly recommend Josh and his team!

I needed to move from St Catharines to Toronto and i hired JR Movers. This has got to be one of the most stress free moves i have done in my life. JR came tot he house to go over the contract and to advise me what to expect on moving day .(by the way did i tell you he is fully insured! ) . I found JR Movers through BBB. They have an A+ rating and they didn’t disappoint. On my moving day, 3 movers showed up on time with a 1 hour text for arrival time. They were extremely efficient, yet fast. They were so friendly and helpful. We were moving to a new house which was not ready for 5 weeks after moving out. All our belongings were put into a storage locker. The builders kept changing closing date and Josh was so accommodating to fit the dates. The last time the date changed, I was given less than 24 hours notice on a Sunday. I emailed Josh to notify him of the change and asked how much I owed him for last minute cancellation He didn’t charge me anything. He responded on Sunday. Then I was given a last minute closing date. I emailed Josh what was his next availability. He told me he would come with one of his movers at 7:00 the following morning. He moved us as efficiently as our first experience. Josh is absolutely incredible. He is so accommodating, so friendly, so kind. He made an awful situation tolerable. Best experience I have ever had with any business. A+++

We recently used JR Moving services both to move things out of our home and back once the build was completed. They took great care of the furniture and more importantly, great care when replacing everything into the new home. They disassembled a couple of beds and reassembled them. (Thankful that I didn’t have to do it ). They were quick and professional. Highly recommend Josh and his crew.

Used JR Movers for my move from Mississauga to the Niagara region. They were highly recommended and they did not disappoint. They were on time and worked hard to facilitate my move. I just sat back and watched them do their thing. The guys were very professional and friendly. If you need good trustworthy movers I highly recommend them.

Recently used JR Moving Services to move into our new home and our experience was mixed. They showed up on time and the workers got straight into working hard and completed moving our entire house in three hours. Our frustration is that after touring our house and reviewing our furniture, they told us the move would take 8-9 hours and wanted us to pay for the entire day. I was adamant that I thought the move would take less than 4 hours, but Josh disagreed and we finally reluctantly agreed to pay a flat rate for a one-day fee. We ended up paying an equivalent of over $600 per hour, and this was much more costly then if we had paid per hour as I initially requested.
When I brought this up to Josh and told him that we would have been better paying them per hour, he indicated if we had they would have taken more time and worked slower.

This company moved a friend of mine. These men worked in extreme heat. They did an amazing job. Very nice very good job they work so hard. We were pleased with this service and the men that did the Move. They did not complain they were like machines. I would highly recommend them we live in Grimsby. I want to thank them and the company for the perfect move.

We used JR Moving Services in early July on one of the hottest days of the summer to move us into a downsized townhouse. They were fantastic! They were quick, efficient, careful, friendly, hardworking, and they even disassembled and assembled large style multi-component headboards, etc. Without a doubt, I would recommend JR Moving Services to anyone. There was not a scratch on anything. We were so happy with them that we hired them for our second move too. His team placed every piece of furniture exactly where we wanted. I found Josh and his crew to be very efficient and friendly in their handling of the Job they had, moving out of my 2 bedroom Condo. The unit they were moving from was on the 3rd floor without an elevator and they still did a good job of handling the various items (some pretty large and cumbersome) out of the building. I will be seeking JR moving again when I move my things from storage to a new place, and would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs a reliable mover.

This company was recommended to us by a local community service organization that deals with them, so we decided to give them a try. I can see now why the recommendation was given. I had an awesome experience with JR. We needed some things moved (not a full move, just a move of some heavy items to storage) and he gave us a great, fair quote.

On the day of the move the crew showed up on time, they were all professional and showed care for our items, and they finished in good time. You can't ask for more than that. Professionalism can be hard to come by these days so I'm really glad we were told about this company. Another small thing that showed they really care about the client: the owner mentioned when I went to pay that they don't keep a client's credit card number on file. In a day and age when our data is everywhere and it seems almost no one cares about privacy and security anymore (in fact most businesses try to grab and keep as much data as possible about you even when it's unnecessary), the fact that the owner cares about protecting his clients from possible credit card fraud/data breaches etc. says a lot about his solid character in a really good way.

We will be doing all our moves with them going forward and will be telling all our friends and business colleagues. Thanks, Josh, and all the crew at JR Moving Services! Niagara is lucky to have you.
